The dataset contains full time series of satellite and radar images,
weather models and ground observations.
To keep the dataset at a reasonable size, the data covers two geographic
areas of 550km x 550km on the Mediterranean and Brittany coasts, and spans
over 3 years, 2016 to 2018.
We have prepared this free dataset to let the data science community play with it.

| Component | Interpretation | |-----------|----------------| | | The format – a dictionary for StarDict-compatible software. | | drae | Likely shorthand for “Dictionary of Regional American English” or a similarly prestigious acronym (e.g., DRAE in Spanish contexts refers to Diccionario de la Real Academia Española , but given the linguistic nature of the request, the former is more probable). In exclusive file-sharing circles, "drae" sometimes indexes a high-end, non-public lexicon. | | 24 | Version or edition number – probably the 24th iteration of the dataset. | | 2 | Sub-version or patch level – the second revision of version 24. | | bz2 | Compressed with bzip2 – slower compression but higher density than gzip. | | bz2 (second occurrence) | Redundant for emphasis or an error in search strings. Could also indicate a double compression (first the dictionary, then a tar.bz2 container). More likely, it’s a SEO-driven duplication or a user’s query pattern. | | exclusive | This is the most significant word. It suggests the file is not available in standard repositories (e.g., no longer on SourceForge, XDXF archives, or the GitHub StarDict mirrors). It may be a private rip, a commercial dictionary converted without permission, or a community “holy grail” file shared on private trackers or forums. |
Why seek out such a specific file? Several professional and hobbyist scenarios:
: Use a freeware tool like 7-Zip. Right-click the .bz2 file, extract it to reveal the internal folder or .tar archive, and extract a second time if double-compressed. stardict drae 24 2 bz2 bz2 exclusive
The process is similar but uses a graphical file manager:
The keyword "stardict drae 24 2 bz2 bz2 exclusive" represents a specific, likely rare, version of the Spanish Royal Academy's dictionary in the StarDict format. While the exact file may not be widely available, understanding its components allows you to build a powerful, offline, and multilingual dictionary system using open-source tools. Whether you are a linguist, student, or enthusiast, mastering the StarDict format gives you access to a world of knowledge that is always at your fingertips, even without an internet connection. | | 24 | Version or edition number

Electronic dictionaries are essential tools for language learners, translators, and philologists. Among the available Spanish resources, the Diccionario de la lengua española (DRAE) produced by the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) stands out as the definitive authority. Integrating this expansive resource into an offline, lightning-fast database reader like StarDict provides immediate access to definitions without needing an internet connection.
